Join us for this drive-through event to safely dispose of your sensitive documents and unwanted prescription medication. To help our community members in need, we are also collecting non-perishable food items or monetary donations in support of the Renton Salvation Army.
Prescription (Rx) Drug DisposalSolid pills or capsules can be left in the original container or placed in a separate bag.
Liquid drugs must be in their original containers. Make sure the cap is tightly sealed.
Remove any identifying personal information.
NOT ACCEPTED: Intravenous solutions, injectables, needles, inhalers, syringes, chemotherapy medications, vaping devices that have batteries that cannot be removed, or medical waste.Shredding
Limit 5 bags or file boxes per vehicle.
NOT ACCEPTED: Pre-shredded paper, 3-ring binders, notepads, binder clips, CDs, plastic, or electronics.Food Drive
We are accepting canned, dry goods, or monetary donations to support the Renton Salvation Army Food Bank.
Prepare your itemsStaff will unload items from your trunk, hatchback, or truck bed. Please have them ready for disposal before you arrive.
