Proclamations
The City of Renton proclaimed that April 20th is Arbor Day / Earth Day. It was accepted by Gabriella Golzarian, the City’s interurban forester.
The City also recognized Court Personnel Appreciation Week which was accepted by Judge Jessica Giner and Yanna Filippidis, Judicial Administrative Officer.

Big-dollar items moving through committee. Three significant financial actions were referred to committee Monday and will return to Council in the coming weeks: a mid-biennium budget amendment, interlocal agreements for police services during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and a $3.7 million WSDOT grant for Rainier Avenue Corridor improvements.
