Weekly Events Agenda

Renton City Council currently meets the first four Mondays of the month unless the meeting has been cancelled or a holiday falls on that day. NOTE: Each meeting link will direct you to the agenda, video, and minutes for that date.

Have you ever wondered how police use drones to fight crime and find missing people? How about water rescues? This is your chance to for an inside look at how specially trained officers and firefighters use their equipment.

The Senior Public Safety Miniseries consists of five sessions. You can attend one or all of them. Check the flyer(PDF, 3MB) for the other topics and dates.

A structured yet open business conversation about whatever is on your mind. The meeting format leverages the expertise and needs of those who attend, making it as relevant and practical as possible. The conversation provides a safe space to discuss topics, gather feedback, explore ideas, and learn from one another. Participants gather, set an agenda, and begin time-limited discussions.
Why it works:

Voices are heard, even if their topics are not chosen.
Silent topic writing helps prevent the influence of others' ideas.
Just-In-Time commitment. Regular check-ins ensure everyone is heard, keep the conversation focused, and show that your knowledge and expertise are valued.

Facilitation:
Everyone’s role is to facilitate participation so that everyone leaves with fresh insights.

Join other creative fiber artists and work on current knitting, crochet and other yarn projects. Yarn and some supplies will be available.
