We’re inviting local businesses to be part of founding something together and to get recognized for it.
From April 15 through April 29, participating businesses will receive a custom subscriber link and QR code packet. Share the link with your customers, your followers, your regulars. Every valid subscriber who signs up through your link counts toward your total.
The rewards:
🏆 Top subscriber driver — Featured headline advertiser positioned directly below the masthead of the Renton Signal website and weekly newsletter for the entire month of May.
🥈 Second top subscriber driver — Featured advertiser positioned above the footer of the Renton Signal website and weekly newsletter for the entire month of May.
📬 Any business that brings in 15 or more valid subscribers — Featured in Renton Signal’s rotating ad placements for May.

How it works
- Sign up by April 15th, 10am — register your business to participate and receive your custom subscriber link kit. Businesses that register after will still qualify but not be given additional time.
- Share your link — at your counter, on your social media, through your email list — however you connect with your community.
- Drive subscribers April 15–29 — every person who signs up through your link and stays subscribed counts. Subscribers will be counted April 30th at 12pm. Results will be announced by May 1st at noon at latest.
- Earn visibility for May — top drivers earn premium ad placement, and any business reaching 15 valid subscribers earns rotating placement. All participating organizations must comply with our advertisements policy to win.
What counts as a valid subscriber?
A valid subscriber is someone who remains subscribed through the close of the drive on April 29th and whose email address appears legitimate. Personal email addresses are counted as-is. For business email addresses, one address per clearly identifiable individual is permitted (e.g., jane.doe@company counts; admin@company or info@company does not). Renton Signal, LLC serves as the final arbiter of subscriber validity. We’re here to grow together — fairly and in good faith.
